The Bible itself, and fifteen hundred years of illiteracy, is evidence that God doesn't think that Truth exists in words and ideas. Our era's preoccupation with perfecting our statements of faith is adolescent, a way to avoid the demands of incarnation. Yes, I am guilty, too.
